The final aim of all education is the formation of character and all educational activities are only means to this end.
- Johann Friedrich Herbart
Hallmark has taken the first few steps towards achieving this noble task. All the child is ever to become lies slightly indicated in the child. The purpose of teaching is to bring out these qualities, lying latent, waiting to be discovered, rather than putting more into a child.
As Plato remarked –
“ The function of education is not to put knowledge into the soul, but to bring out best things that are latent in the soul, to do so by directing it to the right object. The problem of education, then is to give it the right surrounding.”
Keeping this in mind we have chosen our location and planned our school in a way so as to provide the best of everything needed, to create that unique ambience which facilitates the learning process.
